Adin Hammond Honored with 2024 Waldemar J. Trjitzinsky Memorial Award

We are delighted to share that one of our undergraduates, Adin Hammond, has been named a 2024 recipient of the American Mathematical Society’s Waldemar J. Trjitzinsky Memorial Award.
This award honors the legacy of Waldemar J. Trjitzinsky (1901–1973), a distinguished mathematician and longtime faculty member at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Trjitzinsky is celebrated for his groundbreaking work in quasi-analytic functions and partial differential equations, as well as his unwavering dedication to supporting students. He often went to great lengths to ensure that financial challenges would not stand in the way of their academic success. For a full list of recipients, check out the announcement here.
Congratulations to Adin for this outstanding achievement!
