Title:  Conformal bootstrap and integrability

Abstract:  I will review the idea of conformal bootstrap. In the last years it was revived by remarkable progress in calculating critical exponents for theories in space- times of dimension >2. The following relation of the important constituents of higher-dimensional bootstrap, conformal blocks, to integrable models will be discussed.

Blocks of scalar fields will be connected to the Quantum Many-Body Problem associated to the root system BC_2 and then to the corresponding affine KZ equation via the Cherednik-Matsuo theorem. If time permits, I’ll describe a harmonic analysis model for blocks and discuss some open questions.
