Check out what happened at the National Math Festival this past April, an account written by our very own Dr. Wesley Hamilton:

“Every two years, the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute—in cooperation with the Institute for Advanced Study and the National Museum of Mathematics—organizes the National Math Festival (NMF) to bring together mathematicians, math educators, and the broader community. Wesley Hamilton recently graduated with a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will start his position as a Wylie Assistant Professor at the University of Utah this summer. He also serves on the SIAM Education Committee.
