Experiments, Computation, and Modeling

Welcome to the UNC NSF Applied Math Research Training Group

The National Science Foundation is providing UNC with generous support to train undergraduates, graduates, and postdoctorates to perform vertically integrated research in experiments, modeling, and computational simulation of the fluid phenomena under study in the fluid dynamics laboratories in mathematics and physics at the University of North Carolina. Annually, we will fund up to five graduate students, and ten undergraduate students. Additionally, the award will support three postdoctoral fellows.
