Math 110 and Math 130 Information Page
The Mathematics Department, in conjunction with the College of Arts and Sciences and a grant from the Pew Foundation, has undertaken a major redesign of several of our mathematics courses, namely Math 110 (Algebra, formerly Math 10) and Math 130 (Precalculus, formerly Math 30). We offer a flexible structure that is designed to give students a variety of ways to approach the material within a classroom setting and with a lot of individual help.
Students planning to enroll or currently enrolled in Math 110 or Math 130 should read the policies below, and be aware that attendance at the weekly recitation sessions is mandatory.
