The aim of this workshop is to explore the interplay between symplectic varieties and geometric representation theory. Topics will include the representation theory associated to symplectic singularities and their resolutions (for example, Springer resolutions), representation theory arising in moduli of sheaves, quiver varieties, Hilbert schemes of points on surfaces, and hypertoric varieties, and related themes like categorification.

This workshop will bring together experts working on these topics and in related areas. Support for the conference is provided by the National Science Foundation, award DMS-1547117.
